The Gite
Our Grand House and Gîte
We offer a unique spacious five-bedroom holiday house and two-bedroom holiday gîte located on an old wine estate. There is the option for an additional 2 guests.
The Gite accommodation can sleep 4 and is comfortable and peaceful, with stunning views across the Dropt valley.
The gîte has one very large king size bedroom and one twin bedroom with single beds. Connecting the bedrooms is a Jack & Jill en suite. The twin room has an additional en suite shower room. Downstairs is a second bathroom with shower, WC and wash basin.
Rental includes sole use of our indoor and outdoor facilities.

The accommodation has a large living room with a fireplace plus UK and French TV. It opens directly onto the private terrace.
The private terrace is accessed from the living room. It is covered and includes a dining table and chairs. It has amazing views across the swimming pool and valley.
The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a large dining space. It includes a dishwasher, washer-dryer, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine.

Accueil des plus sympathiques de notre hôte dans un cadre magnifique et d'une tranquillité sans pareille. Grande piscine disponible où la place ne manque pas ! 2 salles de bain, 1 grande cuisine et un beau séjour afin de profiter pleinement du gîte et de la région. A recommander sans modération.

Si vous rechercher le repos au calme avec tout ce qu’il faut pour se distraire, ce logement est alors celui qu’il faut. Magnifique piscine mais aussi court de tennis en parfait état , ping pong, babyfoot, plancha... à disposition. Le logement est spacieux pour 4 avec une grande pièce de vie, une grande cuisson et deux grandeschambres. Les supermarchés sont à 6km environ. Plusieurs beaux villages intéressants à visiter dans un périmètre de 30 km. Accueil chaleureux et propriétaires discrets.

A very peaceful & rural location in the Dordogne, perfect for a relaxing holiday but with easy access to both Bergerac Airport (about 30 mins) and two delightful small medieval towns typical of the Dordogne area, Eymet & Issigeac. Issigeac has a fantastic market on a Sunday morning and both towns have good restaurants. The
Gite is very spacious clean and comfortable having been recently renovated. The infinity pool is delightful and the views are idyllic. Although the pool is shared with the owner they never used the pool whilst we were there, so it was like having our own private pool, a real bonus. Michelle is a very welcoming and helpful host and very much respected our privacy , which was appreciated. We would definitely recommend to family and friends and hopefully we will be back!

We had a great stay at Michelle's place and felt very welcome. Michelle and her husband live nearby on the property and are very helpful and friendly. Communication is easy. The apartment is spacious and situated in a former barn. Swimming pool is relatively large (15 m. x 5 m depth 1,5 m). Lots of privacy. Plaisance is situated in the Bergerac vineyard region. Beautiful nature and nearby villages and cities. Having a (rental) car is a must.
