The location

 

We are located half way between the pretty Bastide villages of Issigeac and Eymet along the beautiful Dropt valley. We are at the end of a long cedar tree-lined drive.

Amenities

 

The nearest town with boulangerie, supermarket and petrol station is Castillonnès. It is a 10 minute drive from the gîte.

The grounds and pool

​

The house and gîte are located within the 33 acre grounds overlooking the river Dropt valley. The house terrace looks out across the valley and swimming pool with far-reaching views. 

​

The Open Barn is the perfect location for an open air wedding reception for 60 guests. Alternatively, there is ample room to setup a large marquee on the front lawn of the property.

 

The infinity swimming pool has a beautiful paved sun deck with loungers, umbrellas and a pretty gazebo with table and chairs. The pool is 15m x 6m and sun bathers and swimmers can enjoy the views across the valley from the pool area.

 

We are blessed with spectacular, south-facing views and sunsets. We have 4  centuries old cedars-of-Lebanon trees. A spectacular location for wedding guests to enjoy cocktails.
